Sam Chamberlain

Sam is a Chartered accountant who in 2021 was shortlisted for the Institute of Director’s Yorkshire & Northeast Young Director of the Year Award. Sam has significant experience when it comes to operating within family-owned SME businesses and all the associated challenges that come with them.

Sam is unique in the fact he has been through the exact process himself, previously, he was the Finance Director and internal lead for the sale of the family business which was sold to a PLC for circa £6m and so understands the unique demands and pressures that comes with selling the family business.

As well as this, he has been instrumental in the building of a property holding company with assets of circa £6m and a turnover of approx. £700k per annum and has been a consultant at a mid-market, private equity backed specialist Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround practice.

Outside of work Sam tries to spend as much time as possible with his friends and young family.
